Amadeu Baptista - Poemas do Inferno
23.00€
In Dante Alighieri's *The Divine Comedy*, he condemned 146 figures from the cultural, religious, and political history of Europe, from antiquity to the medieval period in which he wrote his work, to the harsh torments of Hell. And until now, those condemned had not been guaranteed any defense against such a heavy sentence.
In *Poems of Hell*, Amadeu Baptista pursues this goal, guaranteeing each of those involved, for the first time in European literary history, the right to defend themselves in their own voice during the trial to which they were subjected. He has thus composed a work that will undoubtedly become a landmark in the context of contemporary poetry written in Portuguese.
