General Conditions
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Use of our website and any purchases made by the user are subject to the conditions of use stipulated in these General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. User registration on the website and any purchases made imply automatic and unreserved acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions.
Socorro reserves the right to modify at any time the information and commercial offer presented on the website regarding products, prices, promotions, etc. The photographs presented on the website are merely illustrative and consist of a sample of the product to be purchased. Socorro recommends that users consult the detailed product description.
2. PRICE POLICY
Prices and product information on the website are subject to change without prior notice.
All prices include taxes at the legal rate in force in accordance with applicable legislation.
Socorro acknowledges possible errors in the publication and/or translation of prices or characteristics of the products presented on the website. If the price indicated is incorrect and manifestly derisory, regardless of its cause (bug, manual error, technical error, etc.), the order will be canceled, even after confirmation by the user, upon reimbursement of any payment made by the user.
The prices shown on the website do not include shipping costs, which will be calculated and shown during the order checkout process.
Socorro declines all responsibility for the validity of the content of technical data sheets and product descriptions from its partners or suppliers.
3. PRODUCT DELIVERY AND STOCK AVAILABILITY
Available delivery methods and delivery times may change depending on the time of year. Socorro recommends that you consult these General Terms and Conditions.
All product orders are dispatched within 48 hours. In the event of an unexpected shortage of stock, Socorro will contact the customer, who is free to choose to cancel the order or send it back when stock is available.
Socorro shall not be liable for stock shortages that cause total or partial failure to deliver any order, nor for any delay in delivery. In such a situation, Socorro will contact the customer, who may choose to cancel the order or wait for it to be processed.
If it is not possible to complete an order due to these circumstances, any payment already made will be refunded to the user.
In the case of international orders, Socorro is not responsible for any delays caused by the customs services of the destination country, nor for any additional fees or charges applied during the import process. These costs are the sole responsibility of the user/customer.
4. EXCHANGE OF PRODUCTS AND REFUNDS
Socorro accepts exchanges of products within a maximum of 30 days from the date of purchase, provided that they are in their original condition (identical to the condition in which they were purchased, sealed and without any alteration to their original condition, anomaly or damage).
The exchange of products depends on the availability of existing stock.
All items will be checked on arrival by Socorro and only those that meet the return conditions will be accepted for exchange.
If products are exchanged, the customer is responsible for the cost of sending the products.
Refunds will only be possible in the event that the customer makes a purchase of products which are out of stock unexpectedly and which are not listed on the website. In this case, refunds can be made in the following ways:
- Refund by bank transfer to an account to be specified (National or International belonging to the SEPA agreement).
- In the case of payment by credit/debit card, the refund will be made by the same means.
For international orders, any taxes or customs duties charged as a result of a product return will be automatically deducted from the amount refunded to the customer.
5. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL FROM DISTANCE CONTRACTS
Under the terms of the legislation in force, the customer has the right to freely withdraw from the contract within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt. To this end, within this period, the customer must contact Socorro through the means of communication provided on our website and expressly communicate their intention to terminate the contract.
It is the customer's responsibility to bear the cost of the return.
The customer must present the purchase invoice for the product, otherwise the return will not be accepted.
Returned products must be in their original condition of sale, i.e. in the same condition in which they were purchased, sealed and without any alteration to their original condition, anomaly or damage.
The customer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal in the case of audio recording products and records from which the guarantee seal of unviability has been removed. All items are purchased new and sealed (except used items presented as such).
All items will be checked on arrival at our service and only those that comply with the return conditions will be accepted for return.
Socorro reserves the right not to accept items that do not comply with the return conditions.
6. LIABILITY
All products sold on the www.socorro.pt website comply with Portuguese legislation.
Socorro declines all responsibility for delays or contractual defaults resulting from force majeure. Socorro is not responsible for situations of unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure, resulting from unforeseen events or natural forces foreign to human action, which cannot be avoided or situations that create the impossibility of fulfilling the service that cannot be attributed to Socorro, such as natural disasters, terrorist attacks, war, epidemics, total or partial strike, postal services and means of transportation or communication, flood, fire or war, among others.
Socorro shall not be liable for any indirect damage, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, damage or fees that may arise from the purchase of any product presented on the website.
Socorro declines all responsibility in the event of a breach of the legislation of the country where the order is delivered. It is the customer's responsibility to check with the local authorities the conditions of import or use of the Products they wish to order.
7. APPLICABLE LEGISLATION AND JURISDICTION
All purchases made on the website www.socorro.pt are subject to Portuguese law.
Any conflict or divergence of interpretation of the General Terms and Conditions shall be settled by the District Court of the registered office of Temas Impulsivos, Lda, with express waiver of any other.
The above legislation applies to national or international transactions carried out with Temas Impulsivos, Lda.
In the event of a dispute, the consumer may resort to an Alternative Dispute Resolution Body:
