We witness her listening, her anxiety for dialogue, knowing full well that it is not our word that would save her, but the temptation remains entirely in our mouths.

The power of her poetry prevents us from remaining unscathed. We are committed from the very first verses.

We are all the people you love, that you need to love, and we are all the people who have hurt you or become insufficient.

The strength of this poetry, however, does not come from distress. Quite the contrary. It is due to humanity, to ethical fortune, to the beauty of expression so naked, so without stylistic masks that it results in a style of splendor, utterly natural, crystalline.

Or perhaps, it's all a little the opposite. When all intimacy is a drift, so directionless and without guarantee, the reader is the other side of fundamental people.
