On a drunken night, two of the band's founding members needed to use an improvised bathroom and saw the ideal spot on a sloping street next to the mythical Carvalheiras square in Braga. Legend has it that, each on their side of the street, they saw their fluids flow until they met - that was the sign they needed to start this project.
The Amijas' debut album inhabits the journey between the bar and the bathroom, between the bathroom and the hazy arrival home, with all the moments that are part of it. They bring us a fluid and uncompromised rock, where wind instruments, electronic textures and the cold-hot combo of the two voices that materialize this universe are added together, without discriminating between blood, sweat or tears.
