Angine de Poitrine - Vol.II (CD)

Angine de Poitrine operates in its own orbit, blending rock theatricality with a playful fixation on the absurd. The duo — Klek and Khn — builds its sound from pulsating rhythms and densely layered microtonal guitars, fitting into hypnotic patterns that sound both mechanical and untamed.

Their rise has been meteoric, from a widely attended KEXP session to sold-out shows and festival appearances, with tracks like "Fabienk" gaining prominence. Still, the focus remains firmly on the music itself.

Vol. II takes their approach even further: more concise, more direct, and full of unexpected twists. The core elements — acid techno pulse, disco propulsion, and rock weight — are enhanced into something more impactful and unpredictable, with flashes of dry humor emerging beneath the surface.
