Released in 2022, WE marks Arcade Fire’s return with an ambitious and emotionally expansive album, split into two distinct parts that explore themes of isolation and human connection.

Co-produced by Nigel Godrich (Radiohead), the record features a dense, cinematic sound that blends art rock, electronics, and folk with the band’s signature epic sensibility. Tracks like “The Lightning I, II” and “Unconditional I (Lookout Kid)” balance existential unease with moments of hope and redemption, resulting in a cohesive and reflective work that questions our place in a constantly shifting world.
