Chat GRP - Chat GR(E)P

Chat GR(E)P is the debut EP by Chat GRP, released on 7 December 2024.

Comprising six tracks across 26 minutes, the work delivers a dense, impactful sound rooted in the underground scene. The band features Francisco Cabrita (vocals), Francisco Almeida (vocals and drums), Pedro Campos (vocals and guitar) and José Rego (vocals and bass), embracing a raw and provocative aesthetic. Released via the independent Porto-based label Saliva Diva, the project exudes a collectively creative and unpredictable spirit, hinted at by its stylised title. All lyrics were penned by Francisco Cabrita and are performed with energy and camaraderie, augmented by guest contributions that enrich the sound with additional voices and instrumental layers—synths, percussion and piano—imparting a collaborative and experimental character to the production.
