Cortada - Gānbēi (干杯)

Gānbēi (干杯) is the debut album by Lisbon-based band Cortada, released on May 9, 2025 and available as a limited edition CD digipack.

Featuring eight intense and urgent tracks, the record blends punk, noise and raw rock with snarling guitars, forceful bass, explosive drumming and vocals infused with irony and restrained anger. Songs such as “1234”, “Fossa Séptica”, “GP de Everywhere” and “Cortada” showcase a direct, no-frills approach where sharp riffs and fast-paced arrangements drive a visceral listening experience. Recorded by André Isidro, mixed by Simão Simões and mastered by Leonardo Bindilatti, Gānbēi (干杯) channels urban chaos into a set of tracks that explore frustration, repetition and confrontation with everyday life, asserting Cortada’s bold identity within the Portuguese independent scene.
