"Dance Fever" is the fifth studio album by British band Florence + The Machine, released in May 2022.

Inspired by the concept of “choreomania” – a historical phenomenon of uncontrollable dancing – the album blends Florence Welch’s signature poetic lyricism with a sound that spans art pop, indie rock, and elements of electronic and baroque music. Written largely during the lockdown period, "Dance Fever" explores themes such as the longing for freedom, emotional intensity, embodiment, and the tension between vulnerability and inner strength. Co-produced by Florence Welch alongside Jack Antonoff and Dave Bayley (of Glass Animals), the album features tracks like "King", "Free", and "My Love", in which the artist delves into womanhood, creative identity, and modern anxiety, all delivered with a dramatic and almost ritualistic energy. "Dance Fever" is a powerful and introspective return, merging personal unease with waves of catharsis and liberation.
