Interestingly, "She Sells Sanctuary" became one of the band's biggest hits and an alternative rock classic, with its catchy melody and 12-string guitars. This album helped establish The Cult as one of the most important bands of the post-punk movement, blending energy with darker atmospheres. "Love" is widely regarded as one of the band's best albums and a milestone in 80s music.
