Released in 2012, Toy is the debut album by English band TOY — a sonic blend of modern psychedelia, krautrock, and shoegaze with a dark, hypnotic elegance.
Featuring long, repetitive tracks, the album builds dense and immersive soundscapes where layered guitars, atmospheric synths, and motorik rhythms merge into a near trance-like journey. The production is raw yet deliberate, capturing the intensity of the band’s live performances. It’s a record that channels both the exploratory spirit of the ’70s and the moody edge of British post-punk.
