Angine de Poitrine - Vol.II

Angine de Poitrine operate in their own orbit, blending rock theatrics with a playful fixation on the absurd. The duo—Klek and Khn—build their sound from driving rhythms and densely layered microtonal guitars, locking into hypnotic patterns that feel both mechanical and unruly.

Their rise has been swift, from a widely viewed KEXP session to packed shows and festival appearances, with tracks like ‘Fabienk’ gaining serious traction. Still, the focus remains firmly on the music itself.

Vol. II pushes their approach further: tighter, more direct, and full of unexpected turns. The core elements—acid techno pulse, disco propulsion, and rock heft—are sharpened into something punchier and more unpredictable, with flashes of dry humour surfacing beneath the surface.
