Jonathan Bree - Dont Call It Love

Jonathan Bree returns with Don’t Call It Love, a 17-track double album steeped in noir-pop, orchestral melancholy and erotic tension. Expanding on the shadowy sound of previous releases, Bree pairs brooding baritone vocals with sleek synth-pop, cinematic arrangements and an unmistakably '80s-inspired atmosphere.

Featuring collaborations with artists from music, film, dance and photography, the album explores intimacy, performance and desire through a darkly stylised lens. Lead single ‘Live To Dance’, featuring Princess Chelsea, set the tone with its sultry pulse and striking video inspired by Duran Duran’s ‘The Chauffeur’.

Listeners have drawn comparisons to New Order and Siouxsie & The Banshees, though Bree’s blend of orchestral pop and detached romanticism remains distinctly his own.
