Judas Priest's Sad Wings of Destiny remains one of heavy metal's defining records.

Originally released in 1976, it helped set the template for the genre with enduring favourites including 'Victim of Changes', 'The Ripper' and 'Tyrant'. This 50th anniversary edition is restored from the original 1976 analogue master tapes in cooperation with the band, presenting the album in its intended running order, beginning with 'Prelude'. A fitting celebration of a record whose influence still echoes through heavy metal today.
