Mão Morta – K7

K7 is the very first recording in Mão Morta’s history, captured in 1987 during rehearsal sessions, at a time when the band was beginning to carve out its artistic identity within the Portuguese alternative scene.

Featuring embryonic versions of tracks — some of which would later appear on their debut album — the recording showcases a raw, visceral energy, reflecting the band in a primitive yet powerfully expressive state. Originally released on cassette, this rare document is now available on vinyl in a carefully produced 2023 edition, with remastered audio and new artwork. A crucial insight into the early days of one of Portugal’s most influential rock bands.
