Pavement – Terror Twilight

Released on 8 June 1999, Terror Twilight is Pavement's fifth and final studio album.

Produced by Nigel Godrich, renowned for his work with Radiohead, the album presents a more polished and accessible sound compared to its predecessors, while still retaining the lo-fi and experimental essence characteristic of the band. Tracks like "Spit on a Stranger", "Major Leagues", and "Ann Don't Cry" delve into themes of disillusionment and introspection, reflecting the internal tensions that marked the recording process. The deluxe edition Terror Twilight: Farewell Horizontal, released in 2022, includes 45 tracks, 28 of which are previously unreleased, providing a comprehensive insight into the band's legacy.
