C is the second album by American band Rex, originally released in 1996 and reissued in February 2023 by Numero Group as a deluxe double vinyl edition.

Remastered from the original analog tapes for a richer, more detailed sound, the album also features restored artwork by guitarist Curtis Harvey. Clocking in at 66 minutes, it blends slowcore, alt-country, and post-rock into a unique, dense and emotive sonic landscape. The tracks shift between introspective passages and bursts of intensity, with string arrangements and percussion adding depth and texture. Songs like “New Son” and “New Dirge” showcase the band’s talent for crafting immersive atmospheres.
