Grandeza is the debut solo album by Brazilian artist Sessa (Sérgio Sayeg), originally released in 2019 on Boiled Records/RISCO.
A heartfelt tribute to Brazilian music, the album blends intimate psychedelia with minimalist arrangements, drawing on Tropicália, MPB and touches of free jazz. With female vocal choruses, organic percussion and poetic lyricism, its eleven tracks explore themes of desire, love and sensuality. Highlights include Flor do Real, Tesão Central, Infinitamente Nu, Tanto and the title track Grandeza. This 2024 edition comes on limited Pink + Purple Splatter vinyl, adding a vivid visual identity to the album’s delicate and emotional tone.
