The Bolshoi – Friends

Released in 1986 by Beggars Banquet, Friends is the debut album by British band The Bolshoi.

Featuring Trevor Tanner (vocals and guitar), Nick Chown (bass), Jan Kalicki (drums), and Paul Clark (keyboards), the record blends new wave, post-punk, and gothic elements. Standout tracks include "Away", "Modern Man", "Someone's Daughter", "Sunday Morning", and "Romeo in Clover". The 2024 edition features white vinyl and includes the additional track "A Funny Thing". Regarded as a post-punk classic, Friends captures the creative energy of the UK's alternative scene in the 1980.
