The album highlights the DIY (do-it-yourself) scene in the UK, showcasing groups like The Art Attacks, The Drive, Johnny And The Self Abusers (who later became Simple Minds), and The Killjoys (fronted by Kevin Rowland, later of Dexy's Midnight Runners). The Record Store Day 2022 limited edition includes a bonus 7" single of Stormtrooper's "I'm A Mess," paired with "It's Not Me."
