The LowCCCost collection has surpassed barriers with each new volume. What began as a whim to visit friends across "boring Europe" has since crossed continents, states of mind, and time, always with an intimate touch, far removed from the hysterical tourism we witness these days, much to the delight of those who enjoy "traveling without taking public transport and spending money."

Francisco Sousa Lobo (1973) returns to the collection in this volume to once again break the "silences" of less orthodox places. While Deserto / Nuvem (2017) focused on this theme, revealing the way of life of the Carthusians in the Évora convent, this new book brings together an architectural research team and a comic book author to interview people who had been to the settlements created by the Portuguese army in Africa. The researchers conducted interviews in Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau, and Brazil, offering a reflection on what happened before and after April 25, 1974, in rural Africa.
