Joana Estrela - Pardalita

When Raquel begins to tell us her story, Pardalita has already entered her life. Not abruptly, but slowly and subtly, first in the school hallways, then at theater rehearsals.

Raquel only knows her by sight, but she counts the days until she sees her again and begins to notice very small things—like the tag on Pardalita's nightgown touching the skin of her neck.

Raquel begins to wonder: "How far can you get from someone without implying that you don't want any distance at all?"
