The deviant construction of our subjectivity has sociopolitical consequences.
The aim of this brief work is to portray theoretical alliances between queer and loke subjective-political affiliations, exploring each concept and seeking common ground within their respective frameworks. Here, the intersectional political alliance between queer and loke movements is defended. The constitution of sex-gender-sexual dissidence within madness is introduced, highlighting the systemic-structural dimension of experiences known as “mental illness” and their function within psychiatric knowledge-power. Abjection is explored as familiar territory for both queer and loke individuals. And it is suggested that madness itself can signify a form of dissent with respect to the sex-gender-sexual norm.
