Sometimes shipwreck —
a boundless collision between bodies —
my absent resting place
from the semantic chronology of the text.

I believe in souls
fruit of the consequent coordinates
of any naval misfortune, wreckage from the depths, treasures on the surface of my gaze.

when I was born, once,
I only knew how to love the sea.
