The crisis we are living through today cuts across the whole of society, and its effects — political, social, and environmental — have a brutal and immediate impact on the lives of 99% of the population, with particularly severe consequences for women.

Yet the current feminist agenda, instead of promoting truly emancipatory measures for all women, has preferred to focus on gaining greater representation for women in corporate leadership, demanding more power and advantage for an elitist and comfortable minority.

To solve a global crisis, we cannot fixate on the problems of just 1% of the population.

That is why a new feminism is urgently needed.

This manifesto aims to reclaim the true purpose of feminist struggles and direct them toward a total reorganization of society that genuinely benefits the majority of the population.

Because women are on the front lines of the devastating effects of climate change, austerity, gentrification, labor exploitation, resource exhaustion, and the financialization and privatization of social infrastructure, this is a manifesto in defense of the lives of the 99%: a feminist manifesto.
