During his years with Low, he created decades of moving music with his wife, Mimi Parker. In recent years, he has been seen around Minnesota playing in a funk band with his son Cyrus, which also features guest appearances from his daughter Hollis as a vocalist. As friends and admirers of Low, they invited Sparhawk to join their tour after Mimi’s passing in 2022, surrounding him with companionship and support. Occasionally, he would step onto the stage.
