Burial - Burial

A defining work of early UK dubstep, this self-titled debut blends ghostly vocal fragments, crackling vinyl textures, deep sub-bass and fractured rhythms into a haunting, nocturnal soundscape.

Drawing on elements of garage, dub, ambient and jungle, it captures the atmosphere of deserted city streets and late-night introspection, establishing a distinctive sonic language that would go on to influence electronic music for years to come.
