Dry Cleaning - Secret Love (indies)

Dry Cleaning announce their third studio album, Secret Love, due for release on 9 January 2026 via 4AD. Following 2022’s Stumpwork, the new record marks a shift in the band’s sonic landscape, produced by Cate Le Bon and recorded across studios in Chicago, Dublin and the Loire Valley in France.

The lead single, “Hit My Head All Day”, is now available and deals with themes of bodily and mental manipulation, drawing inspiration from the spread of misinformation on social media. Vocalist Florence Shaw describes the track as a reflection on the difficulty of reading intentions and the ease of falling under the influence of seemingly friendly but dangerous forces.

Musically, Secret Love blends 1980s American punk influences with no wave, experimental rock and distorted folk textures, while preserving the band’s signature spoken-word vocal style.
